I enjoy working with authors and helping them get their books into the hands of readers.
I’m a polymath and an autodidact—two things very well suited to working in publishing.
I have more than 10 years of experience in the book publishing industry. I have worked with best-selling, self-published authors and in well-established publishing houses. I have edited and marketed books about beer, business, design thinking, fine art, functional nutrition, leadership, management, motherhood, and technology—just to name a few.
My network includes people from all areas of the publishing industry: editorial services, design, typesetting, printing, ebook and audio production, photography, illustration, rights, and publicity. I currently teach Book Marketing and Publishing for Writers classes at Portland State University.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Women's Studies from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and a master’s degree in Writing with a specialization in Book Publishing from Portland State University.
